Alan is a little boy who was born with a chromosomal disorder that has resulted in developmental delays, vision impairments, and ataxia(lack of coordination). His mother in the past would carry Alan around when he would get tired from walking. As he has gotten bigger this has been a problem. Doctor's visits and trips to the store have become difficult due to Alan's walking taking so much effort. Medicaid denied the stroller request. The foundation purchased this nice blue Convaid stroller to help them out. The stroller came just in time as Alan will be making a trip to Mexico for the first time to visit relatives!
