Ariella is an 11 year old little girl with Cerebral Palsy and Seizure disorder. She is currently home schooled and receive therapies in the home. Ariella had a Rifton bicycle that she loved riding around Prospect Park but it was getting too small. Her mother wanted to get her a new bike but it is not considered medically necessary and not covered by insurance. Ariella was also a candidate for an intensive therapy program that was not covered by insurance. The foundation was able to relieve this mother of having to choose between the two and we purchased a new Freedom Concepts bike for Ariella. She got right on the bike when it was delivered and rode it up and down the streets of Brooklyn! - December 2012
