Jessica is a happy 8 year old little girl who lived in a nursing home up until last year. When her biological parents found out her rare diagnosis of Joubert Syndrome at 18 months old, they put her in the care of a nursing home. Her Occupational Therapist and her family could not bare to see this happy little girl sitting in a nursing home for the rest of her life and opened up their home and their hearts for Jessica.

Jessica was adopted into a loving family one year ago today and has adjusted well to her parents and two older brothers. Jessica's family was looking for a way to purchase her an adaptive bicycle so that she could exercise and socialize in the neighborhood. With their oldest son heading off to college in the fall, this was not a time for the extra expense. Jessica received her new bike from the foundation just in time for summer bike rides! - July 2014
