Ketrina is a 19 year old young lady who was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy at birth. She has been an advocate for herself and has personally looked into funding for all the items she needs to make her life fulfilling. Ketrina wanted a bicycle so that she could ride in her neighborhood with her niece. Insurance would not cover the bike so she found us and applied for funding. We were more than happy to purchase this purple bike for her.. She told us that now she can race in the Empire State Games like some of the other children. To show what an amazing young lady she is, she enrolled herself in community college and set up transportation. The service does not always show up on time, making her late for class so she is researching funding to get a handicap accessible van for her family! She is also an ambassador for children with special needs and speaks up in Albany about rights for children with special needs!
