Valentina is an adorable little girl who was able to join us at the Family Fun Day to receive a new adaptive stroller on behalf of the foundation. She is diagnosed with Rett Syndrome and Cerebral Palsy which has left her having seizures and dependent for all areas of daily living. Her insurance felt that a full size wheelchair would be sufficient for this tiny little girl. Besides Valentina’s disabilities, her mother has a heart condition that prevents her from lifting heavy things. The foundation was able to help this family find a stroller that would meet the needs of their family and Valentina. - September 2012
